Distribution and Ecology

Restricted to the McIlwraith Range on far northern Cape York Peninsula. Grows at altitudes between 100m and 300m in 'seasonally dry' rainforest (semi-deciduous, complex notophyll to mseophyll vineforest) along watercourses on alluvium derived from granites or metamorphics or a combination of the two substrates.
